My family consists of me, my mother, my sister and four great danes - Unusual des Terres de la Rairie, Felicity Saxifraga, Himalaya Torres Saxifraga and finally Hurricane Tasha Saxifraga. Great danes are told to be quiet giants but not mine :))They have tempers like terriers !!!!!!!! That's why my house sometimes is a living hell :))

Unusual des Terres de la Rairie is called Xar at home and he is my biggest and irresistible love. There is a magical relationship between both of us - we are unseparable, he reads my mind and knows me the best. He is my closest friend who can always make me laugh, he is funny, sweet, loving and affectionate. I also call him My Son. Like each dog he likes to walk but he finds walking pleasant only with me. He is also loved by all my females - a real womanizer as you can see :)) I'm sure that soon he is going to speak, just give him some time, please :))

Then there is my Felicity Saxifraga, called Fela at home. She's the leading lady and the most energetic and dynamic dane. She is restless, she can play all the time and when you look at her you can see she can smile. She was the most beautiful puppy I've ever seen and now she's a magnificent, young female. She was supposed to be a partner for my beloved Torres des Terres de la Rairie but he tragically died in August 2004 and this dream was not fullfilled. She is very gentle towards people and all living creatures, she's the sunshine of my home and its soul.

Himalaya Torres Saxifraga, called Jessie, is the only quiet dog. She is very obedient but the most independent on the other hand. Exactly like her father Torres. Both her and her sister Tasha are very territorial, they behave like shepherd dogs patrolling the property. Tasha is also the queen of thieves - you must be aware where to put your personal belongings otherwise she will steal everything! We used to say that great dane owners are devided into 2 groups - those who sleep with their dogs and those who would never ever confess they do that. I'm the one who sleeps :)) It's some kind of extremal experience as everyone of my danes wants to be as close to me as possible so I must fight to breathe!!!!!!!

And I love them!!!!!!
